Winning takes more than great candidates and raising money to support them. Although a portion of our funding goes directly to candidates, we also assist in turning out the Democratic vote by encouraging voter registration drives, convincing voters to vote-by-mail and canvassing door-to-door. When Democratic registered voters turnout, Democrats win. Turnout is a primary focus of every campaign.
How may donors ensure that their donations are being utilized effectively and with transparency?The contributions we receive and expenditures made to operate our organization are public record. We encourage donors to review our records so they may be assured of our accountability and transparency. Yes! In Kind donations for some of our expenses certainly helps to offset costs and maximizes the funds we expend to elect candidates who support women’s issues and share our values. In Kind donations might include; printing or office equipment, food/beverages for a grassroots event, a meeting location or advertising. You may provide an In Kind donation by contacting us at dwcfpctreasurer@gmail.comWhat is the process for candidates to receive endorsement and support of the DWCF PC?
Interested candidates should contact their local county Democratic Women’s Club and express their interest in endorsement by our PC. Club presidents or other representatives of the club will provide the Request for Endorsement and Candidate Survey form.
Candidates must submit a completed Request for Endorsement and Candidate Survey form to the DWCF Screening Chair ; screeningchairdwcf@gmail.com ALONG WITH a Letter of Support from a local region or club president.
Interested candidates must support the platform of the Democratic Women’s Club of Florida, Inc.
